Who should attend Duck Preview?
Duck Preview is a fall open house designed to give high school seniors and transfer students a head start on their college search process. We feel that choosing the "best fit" is an important decision for all students who plan to attend college. Duck Preview will give you an opportunity to find out if the University of Oregon is right for you through exploring campus, speaking with faculty and staff, and interacting with current students.

After we receive your registration, we'll send you a letter confirming your registration for Duck Preview. We will also include a map of campus, parking directions and information about local hotels.

REGISTRATION
Enjoy coffee and juice after getting your name tag, program information, and registration materials.
OPENING SESSION
Hear about how the university community is engaging minds of its students. Think about how you can be successful at the University of Oregon.
CAMPUS TOURS
Enjoy the beauty of our 295 acres, fifty buildings, and more than three thousand trees. Campus tours are lead by current students, so be prepared to ask them about their UO experience.
ACADEMIC EXPLORATION SESSIONS
You and your family can learn about academic pursuits the way UO students do - in the classroom. Choose two academic fields to explore. Get even more of your questions answered as department faculty members provide specifics on individual programs.
LUNCH
Explore the selection of food choices students have at the Erb Memorial Union. If you're looking for more choices, we'll provide a list of nearby eateries to try out while you're here.
STUDENT SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES FAIR
Talk with university representatives from various offices and student organizations on campus. Find out about the resources that are available to students at the UO to ensure success as a Duck.
SPECIAL INTEREST SESSIONS
Get more information on the Clark Honors College, Greek Life (fraternities and sororities), student government, recreation activities on campus and in Eugene, the UO Library System, Financial Aid, and University Housing.
Academic Exploration Sessions
From architecture to jazz studies, here's your chance to explore academic areas, talk to faculty members, and learn more about the UO's educational opportunities. Faculty members from the College of Arts and Sciences and from each of the professional schools or colleges present overviews and fill you in on specific majors and programs. You are encouraged to choose two of the departmental sessions below. If you are unsure about a second, please select undecided.
- SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE AND ALLIED ARTS (AAA) - architecture; art history; digital arts; fine and applied arts; interior architecture; landscape architecture; planning, public policy and management;
- CHARLES H. LUNDQUIST COLLEGE OF BUSINESS (BUS) - accounting, business administration with concentrations in: entrepreneurship and small business, finance, marketing, sports business, information systems and operations management
- COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (EDU) - communication disorders and sciences, educational studies, family and human services, special education;
- HUMANITIES (HUM) - Clark Honors College, classics, comparative literature, creative writing, East Asian languages and literatures, English, folklore, Germanic languages and literatures, humanities, Judaic studies, medieval studies, philosophy, religious studies, romance languages, Russian, Russian and East European studies, theater arts;
