Scholarship information for international students

There are several scholarships available to international students applying to the University of Oregon.

The International Deans Excellence Award is a partial tuition scholarship offered to students who demonstrate academic excellence in their academic performance. The total value of this scholarship is $16,000 over four years.

The International Deans Achievement Award (IDEA) is a merit-based, partial-tuition scholarship awarded to new international undergraduate applicants. An application is not required for consideration for the award. IDEA award recipients are selected by the Admissions Office on the basis of official academic records submitted with the UO admissions application. The scholarship is valued at $4,000-$8,000 each and is renewable based on academic performance. To be considered for the IDEA scholarship, students must apply for admission to the UO before the priority deadline. The IDEA scholarship is awarded only to students who plan to enroll in the UO for the fall term (in September).
